{"id":1944,"date":"2014-03-04T08:08:36","date_gmt":"2014-03-04T08:08:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.synergita.com\/?p=1944"},"modified":"2014-03-04T08:08:36","modified_gmt":"2014-03-04T08:08:36","slug":"workshop-on-managing-performance-delivering-business-value-by-mali-mahalingam-at-chennai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newtest.synergita.com\/blog\/workshop-on-managing-performance-delivering-business-value-by-mali-mahalingam-at-chennai\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop on \u201cManaging Performance &#038; Delivering Business Value\u201d by Mali Mahalingam at Chennai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.synergita.com\">Synergita<\/a><\/strong> conducted a day long workshop on \u2018<strong>Managing Performance and Delivering Business Value<\/strong>\u2018at Hotel Radisson Blu Airport, Chennai on 19<sup>th<\/sup> February 2014 along with Mr Mali Mahalingam.\u00a0 Performance Management has been the talk within the HR Circles in the recent times due to increased expectations from business and employees.\u00a0 High performance organizations have the ability to attract, retain people; they are able to perform at extra-ordinary level.\u00a0 Their customers love them.\u00a0 For others, attrition, business excellence, etc. are a challenge.\u00a0 The HR People would have spent sleepless nights thinking of this and most of them wanted to decode the word so as to make a high performing organization as well as with the employees and create a win-win situation.<\/p>\n<p>The day started as early as 8.30 where we had people from various organizations &amp; departments (not restricted only to HR) trying to decode the word coming in from different industries. <strong>Mali Mahalingam<\/strong>, established leader in the field of HR bringing with him more than 25 years of HR experience on to the stage was able to create a rapport with the crowd instantly. The work shop was attended by close to 40 people across different industries from IT, Media, Hospitality, Banks, Transportation and Logistics, manufacturing, etc.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/marketing.synergita.com\/e-book-50-problems-pm\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.synergita.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/E-book.png\" alt=\"Download Ebook\" width=\"650\" height=\"44\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Some of the \u2018Key Take Away\u2019 in the Workshop are on the lifestyle of the Winning Organizations (Creating a Sense of Urgency, Playing the Pygmalion Rule, Robust Dialogue and Focus on Strengths), High Performance Culture (Team Achieves More, Performance Expectations, Flexibility, Contributor, Suitable Environment to thrive upon, Everyone is a Contributor) Pygmalion Effect, Key Leadership Process (Clarify, Communicate, Model, Align, Engage) and Feed Forward\u00a0, etc. There were several discussions about how to nuture such culture in each organization and group discussions to facilitate the best practices among participants.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Raman, Director of Learning &amp;
